Below are some answers to frequently asked questions that you may find useful. If
your require further information, please email or call us.
1. How much power does it take to run the electrical appliances?
Air conditioners run on 30
amp power, confirm that this is supplied at your campsite. Often,
campgrounds only offer 15 amp service.
Microwaves, blow dryers, toasters,
etc. can be run from 15 amp service. The 15 amp service will also keep
your batteries charged.
2. My site has no sewer hook-up, what happens when the holding tanks
are full?
It is the responsibility of
the renter to have the holding tanks emptied during your vacation if necessary. The
campground often has a company that will come around for about $25.00.
For a family of four
the holding tanks should last about 4 days with light use. Light use would
be considered no showering or bathing and toilet use at night only. It is
advised to use public facilities at every opportunity. Take care not to
leave the toilet running! If the bathroom is used (ie. 2 quick showers)
the holding tanks could be full within 2 days.
3. Is propane supplied?
Yes! Propane tanks are full when you
arrive. This should be plenty to last the length of your vacation.
Please call us if you run into problems with propane.
4. Do you hook up the sewer, water and electrical for us?
When you arrive, everything will be
operating. The sewer valves will be connected, but closed. Refer to
the Policies & Procedures Manual for instructions on emptying these when
necessary.
On occasion, the pilot lights may blow out. If this
occurs, please contact us immediately.
5. What if my site has no hook-ups?
This is called "dry" camping. As
stated above, you must be very careful with the use of your holding tanks, using
facilities in the unit only when necessary.
The fresh water tanks are full on your arrival. They
will last, with light consumption for 4-5 days. If you are camping for
longer than this, then use very sparingly.
Batteries are fully charged on delivery. Battery
power MUST be conserved at every opportunity. IE. Lights for a short time

on your control panel for levels. If you batteries completely die, please
